If we are willing to call upon Jesus in storms of our life, we too, like the disciples would be able to profoundly say in the midst of our stormy seas, “What kind of Man is He, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” And other little boats were also with Him. Jesus says the phrase Peace Be still in Mark 4:39 as a command to the wind and waves in a storm on the Sea of Galilee. He is the only one that can speak to our storms and command them to “be still.” The “peace” of God is like a fresh ocean breeze that is awaiting for you to inhale and exhale it as you travel this journey called life. Is the enemy of life called the storms of life chasing after you with rage? Are they causing you to wonder what’s taking Jesus so long to come to your rescue? Are you in need of hearing “peace be still” to the storms in your life boat on today? Does the world around you seem to be crashing down?
